Yesterday a friend wrote a controversial post on my blog. And while I’m always up for a spirited debate of ideas, a few people who disliked her post decided that, rather than arguing their viewpoint based on what Sharideth said, they would just parse a few phrases and then explain what Sharideth was really saying.. I decided to keep a running tab of the things people have written that they believe Sharideth said or implied, contrasted with the ACTUAL TEXT OF THE POST.
It’s cool if you don’t agree. It’s fine if you confront what she actually said. But manipulating what someone said to prove your point is not cool.
